Week #8: Because of the Corona virus pandemic, I survived the eighth week of working from home. That week felt a little more „business as usual“ for the first time. The number of online meetings and their duration decreased, and today’s public holiday in the UK also helped me get some real work done.

Week #6: I survived the sixth week of working from home because of the Corona virus pandemic. The work volume and intensity remain high. It seems to me that we communicate much more than if we were not working from home. To the list of communication tools this week we add the good old GoToMeeting, BlueJeans (InterCall) and StarLeaf (never heard of before). If my kids were smaller they would think I was a phone/video operator.

Week #5: I survived the fifth week of working from home because of the corona-virus pandemic. Working? Well, first were the Easter holidays, then I had the rest of the week off at home. As planned we did a culinary tour of Italy, with Prosecco, Vitello Tonato, Pizza, Carpaccio, Spaghetti, Seafood Salad, Gnocchi, Lugana, grilled Scampi, Gorgonzola, Espresso, Limoncello and many other delicacies.

Schon lange habe ich davon geträumt, am 24-h-Rennen von Le Mans vor Ort zu sein. Weihnachten 2018 haben Franck und ich spontan beschlossen, das zusammen zu machen.
S-Bahn Fahren
Ich fahre ja seit knapp einem Jahr mit der S-Bahn von zu Hause ins Büro nach Frankfurt. Wenn die Bahn pünktlich kommt, eine ausreichende Anzahl von Wagen bereitstellt, die auch noch hinreichend sauber sind und die Klimatisierung/Heizung funktioniert ist das wirklich toll.
