Monday was the first day at the JHP. Officially.

We started moving-in the „normal“ colleagues on Monday (IT, Office Management, Library, Conference Centre have partly moved in ages before). Everything is not yet 100% finished, but that’s normal for new building and first-time occupants. New desks (motorised height adjustable), chairs (no motor) and superb workplace lighting with direct and indirect light. Nice kitchens and lounges, think tanks and internal meeting rooms on all floors. A state-of-the-art external meeting floor including our famous Innovation & Best Delivery Hub. The casino (that’s how we traditionally call our canteen) is not opened yet due to Corona, but we already get delicious take-away-food from our own cafeteria.
From my room I look out onto Goetheplatz.

Goetheplatz is directly behind the wall from that angle…
That’s nice, it would be much nicer if the weather would be as it was on Thursday. Where I was not there because I accompanied my mother to her first Corona vaccination. She got the good stuff from Biontech. The organisation was overwhelmingly good, plenty of friendly and competent supporters, nurses and doctors. You go through 8 stations, there are always waiting chairs and queing areas in between, just perfect. After 45 minutes including 15 minutes recreation time we were done.

It’s not allowed to take pictures there, this is a google search screen shot to illustrate
