Week #10: Because of the Corona virus pandemic, I survived the tenth week of working from home. It was a short week for most Germans, Thursday was a public holiday, Friday I was off. Nevertheless, the stress level remained high. We start to get back to normal on Monday.
I supported the planning and documentation technically. The teams divided themselves into two groups, which should come to the office alternately over the next weeks or months. Provided that child care, personal or family risk factors allow this. I start on Monday directly. We’ll see how it turns out.
The children now have four hours of lessons two to three times a week. In small groups (max. 15 pupils). With open windows, masks and visors. But they have virtually nothing to do on the other days. At least music school (only individual lessons) and tennis training have started again.
After 18 years I also started playing tennis again. Surprisingly, it went quite well.
We just met my parents-in-law for the first time since the restrictions began. We were still careful and met on the terrace, always at a distance. We had brought cold cuts, bread and olives from the Italian supermarket. It was very nice, all happy faces.
