Today is European and World Cycling Day. I’ve been taking advantage of the nice weather all week and cycle to the office every day. It’s pleasantly fresh in the morning and not too warm in the evening. What’s best is when I cycle home – upstream – that I’ve really leave the office behind. That’s the biggest challenge for me when working from home: Switching off when the working hours are over.
I always wear a helmet when I cycle, even if my hair is ruined for the whole day. Some people say I should be happy to still have hair at all, you can’t really call it a hairstyle anymore anyway.
Others wear different helmets for 100 days, and they probably don’t care about my 1st world problems. That’s how long the Russian War of Aggression on Ukraine has been going on.
I hope that Ukrainians will soon be able to think about work-life balance, hairstyles, and bicycles again.
