Keep Calm and Carry On

I haven’t posted anything substantial in the last few weeks. I was speechless in the face of global challenges. Is it allowed to have fun and go out? Does one even dare to go on holiday? Does going to work still make any sense at all? Is it despicable to want normality? The climate crisis will be with us for decades to come, the pandemic may have just peaked and the Ukraine war has been raging for six weeks now.

On Wednesday evening, almost all the authors of the practical handbook „Digitalisierung und Innovation in Kanzleien“ (edited by Claudia Schieblon) met for dinner at the new rooftop restaurant Occhio d’Oro at Flemmings at the Eschenheimer Tor. It was a very nice evening, a great location, with delicious food and good conversation. We Germans are traditionally not so good at appreciating or even celebrating our successes. It’s also not the right time to make a fuss about it.

But, for a short time, I didn’t even know that climate, viruses, and wars existed. Thank you very much, Claudia.
