Week #6: I survived the sixth week of working from home because of the Corona virus pandemic. The work volume and intensity remain high. It seems to me that we communicate much more than if we were not working from home. To the list of communication tools this week we add the good old GoToMeeting, BlueJeans (InterCall) and StarLeaf (never heard of before). If my kids were smaller they would think I was a phone/video operator.
After my wife and the children started producing masks, Clifford Chance in Germany sent each colleague 3 disposable and 3 fabric masks in addition. Thank you! Homeschooling only works as well as my children accept it. That means very good to sufficient, depending on the child. The big child has found a new job in the crisis: Seller in an ice cream shop. Since Monday, they have been allowed to sell ice to take away. Yummy!
